Wind River winds along the route to Debois! The rivers out here appear to be so pristine! You can only imagine the first settlers impressions as they saw the beauty and bounty of this vast, great land! As we see it for the first time I know we share some of their very thoughts and emotions! They saw what we see on horseback, in covered wagons, and on foot! We are seeing on an iron horse and in one day is what could have taken them most of a year! The vastness and sense of isolation of so much of this part of our country makes you feel so insignificant! Beautiful! Beautiful! America!
