Train Ride

When we left Baum stadium rather than taking our bikes downtown to the busy Dickson Street area we decided to ride the train. This was great fun and saved us a lot of time and effort looking for a place to park. The train is a part of the Missouri Arkansas line and runs between Fayetteville and Fort Smith. For this event it was used as a shuttle between Baum Stadium  and Dixon Street. Restored vintage railroad cars make the ride fun and it can give you a taste of what it was like to ride the rails in the past. Most of us are old enough that it was not our first train trip and in vintage cars. ROM
