About 10 miles south of Grangeville, Id, is the memorial and and battlefield of the Nez Perce Indians and US military. As usual the Indians scored big in the first battle but not so well in the end. We gave the land to them and when gold was discovered on the land, then took back 90% and tried to push them off and after being made to look poorly, chased them down and killed them all. GMS
