Flight

This section covers the earliest attempts at flight up through the 1930s and 1940s. Of course one of the most significant displays was dedicated to Wilbur and Orville Wright and their 1903 Kitty Hawk flight. It is almost overwhelming to see the extent of human inventiveness in the early history of America. Even in light of what we're doing today, early history and the human accomplishments are amazing.
