The architecture

We saw very few if any modern structures. Most of the architecture on the island is tied to its original settlement in the 1870s. Even what new structures have been built are period design. Many of the structures and most of the new structures that have been developed along the lower rim of the island are designed to accommodate and promote tourism. This part of the island is very busy and very crowded but everything seems to move along had a very good pace. ROM
